  • The inner circular cut-out fits standard dinner plates (e.g., small plate ~18–20 cm, large plate ~26–28 cm in diameter).

  • The depth of the ringed plate area is between 2 to 4 cm, allowing the containment of side items like salads, fries, pickles, dips, and sauces.

  • The surrounding plate may be made from durable food-grade materials such as plastic, melamine, ceramic, or compostable bioplastics.

  • Two versions are envisioned:

    • One that fits around small-sized plates (e.g., appetizers or dessert plates).

    • Another that fits around large dinner plates (main courses).
